1963 Fender Jazzmaster Pre-CBS Vintage Guitar Fiesta Red w/ Blonde Case
Lightweight for a Jazzmaster at 8lbs 2oz, this Pre-CBS Fender has a clear, lively natural acoustic quality, and the pair of black bobbin single coils both retain their original windings. There's a very round, sweet and woody quality to the neck pickup, with a clear, bell-like sound when both pickups are engaged that’s a fair bit fatter than one usually expects in this position. The bridge pickup has plenty of upper midrange cut and aggression while also having notably bouncy trebles. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, we've dialed in this Jazzmaster with 11-49 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
