Up for sale, a 1964 Gibson Melody Maker in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Featherweight at 5lbs 14oz, tonewoods include a Honduran mahogany body and neck capped with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The bridge position single coil pickup combines a Fender-esque snap and twang with the fuller midrange and low end punch that mahogany provides, with a raw, bell-like sound and tonal profile all its own. This Melody Maker has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
