Up for sale, a 1981 Aria Pro II SB-700 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this rare bass features maple neck through construction with Canadian ash body wings, an MB-II humbucker, and a gloss Natural finish. The SB series has been played by a pedigree of legendary bassists including Cliff Burton, John Taylor, Rudy Sarzo, Jack Bruce, and Marcus Miller.
The smoothly sculpted neck-through body construction offers superb sustain as well as unbeatable access to the upper frets. The MB-II humbucker is punchy and potent, with plenty of midrange growl and a beefy, bold low end. The Dual Sound mini-toggle yields thump and roundness in one position and a more focused edge in the other, cutting through a mix very effectively.
