1972 Sakazo Nakade No. 1000G Vintage Classical Guitar German Spruce + Brazilian Rosewood w/ Case
1972 Sakazo Nakade No. 1000G Vintage Classical Guitar German Spruce + Brazilian Rosewood w/ Case
Very much reflecting the Spanish-style of guitar both in terms of construction and sonically, the No. 1000G was essentially Nakade’s take on the iconic Ramírez 1a, going so far as to incorporate Ramírez’s signature seven-fan bracing on the German spruce top (sans treble bar). Other tonewoods include stunning bookmatched Brazilian rosewood back/sides, a one-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Tonally this No. 1000G is also very much Spanish-style, warm and resonant with a lively vitality and pluck. There’s a round, brassy quality to the low end that provides an ideal potency for big strums, and plenty of power on tap in all registers to ensure the tonal quality remains balanced whether gently plucked or pushed to the limit with blistering rasgueados. This No. 1000G weighs 3lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with normal tension strings and ideal classical action.
