This ash-bodied Mustang Bass is strung with roundwound 45-100 strings that accentuate the clear note attack and midrange punch of ash as a tonewood. Channeled through the original split coil pickup, this Mustang Bass' sound is warm and thick, with classic low end thump with the Tone knob rolled back and clarity in the treble frequencies.
