1976 Guild D-50 Bluegrass Special Vintage Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Sunburst w/ Case, USA Westerly
Up for sale, a 1976 Guild D-50 “Bluegrass Special” in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This premier Guild flattop was introduced in 1963, and the D-50 model has a broad appeal for open tunings, fingerpicking, DADGAD, and a variety of other applications.
Made in the USA at Guild's Westerly, Rhode Island factory, tonewoods include a Sitka spruce top, bookmatched Indian rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck capped by a slab ebony fretboard. Tonally, this Guild offers tons of projection and power with a woody, percussive cut. The bass register is rich and resonant, with exquisite clarity and a high volume ceiling, while the trebles have a present, round quality with a sparkling snap. This D-50 weighs 5lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Mahogany
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .840” 1st fret, 1.005” 9th fret

The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
