1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard Vintage Guitar Ebony w/ T Tops, Case
Weighing 10lbs 3oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body, maple top, three-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard, dishing out plenty of natural sustain and cut. The T Top humbuckers offer a sparkling treble register, smooth growl and clear note attack at the bridge, while the neck pickup has a bold, sweet quality. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

-Fretboard: Rosewood (dark), pearloid flared trapezoid inlays
-Frets: Medium jumbo, leveled/crowned, faint wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-5

-Nut: 1 11/16”
-Tuners: Grover Rotomatics (replacement)
-Serialization: Eight digit stamp dates to ‘78

The original gloss Ebony nitro lacquer finish exhibits overspray across the back of the body and back of the headstock, and to a lesser degree on the body perimeter, with some additional targeted touch-up where the forearm crossed the top on the lower bout. Cosmetic wear includes various minor dings and scuffs from use, with a smooth, clean feel on the neck profile and palm wear down to the bare maple on the profile shoulders.
A vintage Gibson molded hardshell “chainsaw” case is included.
