Up for sale, a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original (rare) Gibson-branded gigbag. This quintessential ‘70s Les Paul features a gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish and a pair of T Top humbuckers.
Weighing 10lbs 3oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body, carved three-piece maple top, three-piece maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. There’s plenty of natural treble cut, sustain and note detail on tap with this Les Paul, and the T Tops are well suited to amplifying those qualities. The low end is tight and aggressive in the bridge position, with ample midrange snarl, while the neck pickup is bold and expansive.This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
