1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard Vintage Guitar Wine Red w/ T Tops
Weighing 10lbs 3oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body, carved three-piece maple top, three-piece maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. There’s plenty of natural treble cut, sustain and note detail on tap with this Les Paul, and the T Tops are well suited to amplifying those qualities. The low end is tight and aggressive in the bridge position, with ample midrange snarl, while the neck pickup is bold and expansive.This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, with some wear through the gloss on the bass-side of the top from contact with a strap (also included). Cosmetic wear is otherwise limited to a small area of concentrated buckle rash central to the back, a couple tiny dings along the lower bout perimeter, and a few faint scratches on top. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original and very rare Gibson-branded padded gigbag is included, along with a vintage strap.
