Up for sale, a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. With a gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish and T Top humbuckers, this Les Paul is 100% original save for a set of reflector cap knobs.
Weighing 9lbs 7oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body, carved three-piece maple top, three-piece maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. The T Top humbuckers offer a sparkling cut, smooth growl and clear note attack at the bridge, while the neck pickup has a bold, sweet quality. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

There is an area of moderate buckle rash central to the back, and this Les Paul otherwise presents very cleanly, with just a few tiny dings on the top and body perimeter. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
