This vintage SG Custom platform features a pair of Pat. # T Top humbuckers with a replacement vintage Dirty Fingers humbucker in the bridge position, a TP-6 fine tuner tailpiece, and a gloss Alpine White nitro lacquer finish, one of just 217 Customs produced in ‘78.
Weighing 7lbs 2oz, the all-mahogany construction yields excellent midrange warmth and growl, paired with the glassy treble snap of the ebony fingerboard. The replacement Dirty Fingers pickup at the bridge was designed specifically for high gain situations, with smooth compression and a thick, aggressive-yet-full sound.
