1979 Fender Stratocaster Vintage Guitar Antigua w/ Lollar Pickups + Gray Bobbins, Stainless Frets, Case
1979 Fender Stratocaster Vintage Guitar Antigua w/ Lollar Pickups + Gray Bobbins, Stainless Frets, Case
Notably lightweight for the era at only 7lbs 14z, tonewoods include an ash body and a maple neck with a deep U-shaped profile carve, offering great natural midrange punch and treble cut. The Lollar single coil pickups were inspired by early ‘60s pre-CBS Strat magic and have remained one of Jason Lollar’s most prized designs; the Sixty-Four is full of character, with prominent mids, clear trebles, and a piano-like attack. The bridge is sparkling and focused, the neck is broad and warm, and the in-between positions deliver plenty of quack and thinned-out spank. This Antigua Stratocaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
