Up for sale, a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard, complete with the original hardshell case, finished in Tobacco Sunburst and loaded with the original T Top humbucker pair. The three-piece carved maple top, solid (non-sandwich) mahogany body, and maple neck deliver the classic range of sounds indicative of this tonewood combination, with great clarity, note attack and fundamental punch. The T Top humbuckers deliver growl and potent aggression in the bridge position, while the middle position on the three-way toggle has an ideal rhythm sound, round and percussive.
