Up for sale, a 1980s Charvel Model 1B in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced in Japan from 1986-89, this sleek, no-frills bass is quintessential ‘80s cool through and through, featuring a quarter-sawn rock maple neck, poplar body, and a single split-coil J20 Precision-style pickup.
Tonewoods deliver a balanced, neutral acoustic response with an ideal balance of articulation and low-end roundness. The J20 split-coil pickup has plenty of growl and thunder on tap, punchy and clear-sounding across all registers.
