Blade instruments are the brainchild of Gary Levinson, designed in Switzerland and crafted with top-notch fit and finish work in Japan. This souped up Jazz Bass features Blade’s Variable Spectrum Control switching and a gloss Misty Violet finish.
Tonewoods include an ash body with a maple neck capped by a rosewood fretboard, and this bass weighs 9lbs 5oz. The pair of single coil pickups deliver ample presence, growl and thump, wired to the active Variable Spectrum Control with a three-way mini toggle EQ boost switch, coupled to three adjustable EQ trim pots for a wide sweep of sculptable sounds.
