Up for sale, a 1991 Fender “Order Made” Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This one-of-a-kind “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan as part of the Order Made program, which offered numerous non-catalog finish and component options. Order Made features include a Sienna Sunburst gloss finish on a pickguard-less body, complete with matching headstock.
Weighing 10lbs 2oz, this Jazz Bass features an ash body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard, and these tonewoods ensure a bold, lively and punchy acoustic response with ample sustain. The bridge pickup offers a smooth growl and distinctive upper midrange character, accentuated by a fresh set of roundwound 45-105 strings. The neck pickup has a thicker, broader quality, yielding a present thump.
