Sparingly little information is available about this rare Ibanez RG model, crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, likely produced in very limited quantities exclusively for Japanese retailer Ishibashi. Essentially identical to the RG5-150 but with a medium 24 3/4“ scale length, features include a pair of DiMarzio humbuckers, Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, curly flame maple top, and a gloss See-Through Purple finish with matching headstock.
The humbucker in the bridge position is a DiMarzio Tone Zone, a bold and powerful high-output pickup that offers great low end and lower-midrange response to ensure the tone stays full and fat.
