2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Heritage Cherry Sunburst w/ Case, Hangtags
The Classic Plus boasts many features that are notable to the golden age of Les Paul production, such as a '50s headstock shape, push-in tuner bushings, ABR-1 bridge, and a slimmer 1960 neck profile. Weighing 9lbs 4oz, traditional tonewoods includes a mahogany body, carved AA flame maple cap, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard.
Offering plenty of natural sustain and resonance, this Les Paul is loaded with the original 496R and 500T humbucker pair. These pickups are some of Gibson's most hotly wound ceramic magnet humbuckers; the 496R delivers a biting, bluesy edge with notable treble detail and an increase in harmonics, while the 500T delivers a rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal clear highs, wax potted for ideal feedback rejection in high gain scenarios. This Les Paul Classic Plus has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The smooth nitro gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for a few pinhead-sized nicks behind fret 6 that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
