Up for sale, a 2008 Ibanez J Craft Prestige Artist Series AR300RE in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and owner’s manual. This rare and discontinued J. Craft Prestige model was crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan as an updated take on the classic AR300 platform, featuring Super 58 humbuckers with Tri-Sound switching, gold-plated hardware including a Gibraltar bridge with sustain block insert, and a gloss Cherry Sunburst finish.
Tonewoods include a stunning flame maple top on a solid mahogany body, three-piece maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. The Super 58 humbuckers are warm, powerful, and articulate: the bridge pickup has great midrange growl and authority, and the neck pickup is fat and clear with a sweetness ideal for lead work. Each humbucker has a dedicated Tri-Sound mini-toggle, offering two alternate tonal options including single sparkle (coil tap) or rewiring the coils in parallel for a bright, chiming sound that remains hum-cancelling.
