Up for sale, a 2009 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-US in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring factory-installed USA-made pickups and vintage-spec touches including full-size tuner baseplates and spiral bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, and at 9lbs, this bass delivers a balanced acoustic tone with sweet sustain. The pickups offer articulate, mid-forward growl, with a clear treble response and fundamental punch. This JB62-US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
