Up for sale, a circa 2009 Tonality Effects Anemonia in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This rare, discontinued boutique overdrive was crafted by hand in Berlin, Germany; it’s a two-stage tube distortion pedal, with independent footswitches for each gain stage and a wide array of rich, natural-sounding overdrive tones. Tonality Effects describe the sound of this pedal as “reminiscent of a Finnish sauna;” it has an open, dynamic character like the best vintage tube amp preamp circuits, and the ECC83 tube adds an overall smoothness to the tone. The second gain stage functions as a Boost on top of the original stage, labeled “UP,” and the unique Tone control is specifically tuned to the tube’s behavior, regulating the presence of the frequency spectrum in a completely linear manner.
The tube is protected by a chrome-plated cage, and the graphics are handpainted. There is only light wear on the enclosure, and the foam feet and serialized label are present on the baseplate.
