Up for sale, a 2010 Dean Custom Shop USA Dave Mustaine Zero “XO” Limited Edition in showroom clean condition, complete with the original hardshell case, CoA/hangtags, and t-shirt. One of just 50 produced, with the instrument and CoA signed and numbered by Mustaine himself, this Explorer-style Dean was designed in collaboration with the thrash icon himself, boasting korina neck and body, an aged White finish, and a pair of Mustaine’s signature Seymour Duncan Livewire active pickups.
Sometimes called “super mahogany,” the korina body and neck offer a natural growl and midrange heft, qualities faithfully captured by the pickup pair. The Livewire Dave Mustaine Active pickups are potent and powerful, boasting an active preamp design that allows higher gain and more output without sacrificing feel and responsiveness.
