2014 Collings 001MH 12-Fret Mahogany Acoustic Guitar, Near-Mint w/ Case
All woods are acquired, acclimated, and hand-selected by the master luthiers at Collings, and each component is picked with the "whole tonality of the end instrument in mind." The mahogany body and neck are paired with an ebony fingerboard, with 12 frets clear of the body. The all-mahogany construction results in a warm, dynamic, touch-sensitive instrument with a wonderfully full midrange and dense harmonic overtones. A true “songwriter’s special” that is perfectly suited for fingerstyle, this Collings still has plenty to offer when strummed or played with a flatpick. Weighing 3lbs 10oz, this 001MH has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.
