Up for sale, a circa 1980s Flammang Guitars DP40, near-mint and complete with the original hardshell case. Handcrafted by David Flammang in Higganum, CT (Flammang has since relocated to Greene, IA), this premium parlor features a Lutz spruce top, stunning bookmatched curly maple back/sides, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard.
Crisp, detailed, and articulate, this DP40 is exceptionally sweet and even-tempered, offering impressive projection belied by its relatively diminutive size. Engineered for fingerpicking with its 1 ⅞” nut width and 12 fret design, this Flammang delivers fantastic clarity and presence, with a balance across all strings and registers.
