Limited to just 1000 units, this discontinued, much-lauded all-analog delay pedal was engineered by Bob Moog and his team, produced under Bob Moog’s Big Briar brand prior to Moog’s repurchasing of the official Moog branding rights in ‘02.
For sheer features and luxurious sound quality, it's hard to beat the MF-104 Analog Delay. Meticulous sound-sculpting controls allow the effect to be varied in a number of ways only possible with a Moonfooger. Delay Time adjusts the delay range anywhere from 40 to 1000 milliseconds, while the Mix knob allows users to blend the dry and wet signals. The Feedback control mixes a portion of the delayed signal with the instrument signal, generating a single echo, sustaining echoes, or echoes that build in musical and chaotic ways. Additionally, the Internal Loop/External Loop switch selects the signal feedback path: the Internal Loop position feeds the signal directly from the output of the delay back to the input, and the External Loop feeds the signal through the Loop Out and Loop In jacks. The Loop Gain knob governs the signal level that is applied to the Loop In jack when External Loop is selected, and Drive and Output Level knobs adjust the signal strength.
