1990 Orville Les Paul Custom LPC-75 Alpine White Gibson-Licensed, Japan Terada

1990 Orville Les Paul Custom LPC-75 Alpine White Gibson-Licensed, Japan Terada

Up for sale, a 1990 Orville Les Paul Custom model LPC-75 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside of its country of origin, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued Orville model was crafted at the Terada factory.

Weighing 11lbs 3oz, this guitar features the classic tonewood combination of a non-weight relieved mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. The humbuckers respond similarly to a 490, metering at ~9k ohms, delivering clear growling trebles, a punchy midrange and bold low end, with distinct sounds at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Mahogany
-Shape: ‘50s-style C (medium depth), measuring .855” 1st fret, .980” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, 22-fret, block inlay
-Frets: Medium jumbo, no wear
-Scale Length: 24 3/4”
