1982 Tokai TSG-50 SG Standard Vintage Electric Guitar Wine Red 100% Original, Japan
Up for sale, a 1982 Tokai TSG-50 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A faithful recreation of a late ‘70s SG Standard, this TSG-50 features solid mahogany construction, a small batwing pickguard, an "open book" headstock shape, and pearloid small block inlays.
Lightweight at 6lbs 9oz, tonewoods include a two-piece mahogany body, a mahogany neck, and a bound rosewood fingerboard. The Tokai “57 PAFs” are a high-output humbucker pair, featuring ceramic magnet construction, metering at 18.3k ohms in the neck position and 18.5k ohms at the bridge. These pickups produce plenty of power with a throaty low end and lower-midrange response that ensures the tone stays full and fat. This Tokai TSG-50 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
