Up for sale, a 1990 Fender Order Made Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-86DSC in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Finished in a non-catalog custom color Sonic Blue, this rare “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, essentially a progenitor of the Yngwie Malmsteen signature model, featuring a scalloped fretboard, large headstock with bullet truss rod, and USA-made DiMarzio pickups.
The guitar features a pair of USA-made DiMarzio HS-3 (DP117) stacked single coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions, with an alnico magnet Fender Japan ST-Current single coil in the middle position. The Dimarzio DP117s offers hum-free performance with a broad low end that's warm and tight with a smooth, glassy treble response.
