1990 Fender Pro Feel Stratocaster STR-130LS/FO Blueberry Burst w/ Lace Sensor & Floyd Rose, Japan MIJ Fujigen

1990 Fender Pro Feel Stratocaster STR-130LS/FO Blueberry Burst w/ Lace Sensor & Floyd Rose, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1990 Fender Pro Feel Stratocaster model STR-130LS/FO in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This very rare “Made in Japan” Superstrat was only briefly produced in tiny numbers, crafted at the venerable Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production. A top tier offering in Fender’s short-lived Pro Feel series, premium features include a trio of USA-made Lace-Sensor pickups, a Floyd Rose Original tremolo, gold-plated hardware, and a gloss Blueberry Sunburst finish.

Tonewoods comprise an ash body and maple neck with a thick slab rosewood fretboard, and this STR-130LS/FO weighs 8lbs 12oz. The Lace Sensor single coil pickups have a particularly broad tonal range, with Red, Silver, and Blue models coupled to a five-way switch. The Red at the bridge position is Lace’s highest output model, with a fat punch and bright, white-hot bite. The Silver in the middle yields a thick '70s-style single coil response with increased output and midrange, while the Blue at the neck has a warm, round sound. These pickups feature a unique radiant Field Barrier system that surrounds both the coil and magnets, eliminating 60-cycle hum. The patented Lace Micro Combs replace traditional bobbins, giving the player a wider tonal range and better string-to-string balance than traditional pickups. This STR-130LS/FO has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, fast action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender C, measuring .800” 1st fret, .905” 12th fret

-Nut: 1.650”, locking
-Tuners: Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” K-prefix

Body Specs:

-Wood: Lightweight ash

The gloss Blueberry Burst gloss has faded to a blue/green shade on top, with a richer blue/purple factory shade on the back and preserved beneath the pickguard. There are various dings and finish scratches, largely along the body perimeter, with pick wear across the guard and a small chip out of the vibrato arm collet that doesn’t impede the screw-on arm from attaching securely. The ambered gloss finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.

A Fender-branded gigbag is included.
