Up for sale, a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited Colours Edition in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. 1 of 200 produced in a rare Transparent White gloss finish, the “Limited Colour” finishes were released each month from July-December of 1990.
Weighing 9lbs 7oz, traditional tonewoods include a two-piece carved maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The 490R and 498T alnico magnet humbuckers cover considerable tonal ground: the 490R is Gibson's Modern Classic humbucker, featuring Alnico II magnets and a similar response to a PAF, yet with more midrange emphasis. The 498T bridge pickup has Alnico V construction, yielding plenty of muscle and growl, well-suited for high gain scenarios.
