Up for sale, a 1990s Charvel by Jackson 610-SL in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted at the Chu Shin factory in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this exceedingly rare short-scale Superstrat is built to shred, featuring a ¾-sized body, 24” scale length, HSS pickup complement, streamlined controls, Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and a gloss Black finish.
Weighing 8lbs 7oz, tonewoods include a poplar body, maple neck, and slab 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The ceramic magnet single coils at the neck and middle positions produce plenty of authoritative cut, clear and distinct in all positions on the five-way switch with more punch and power than Alnico pickups. Metering 9.7k ohms, the Jackson LP-HM humbucker in the bridge position is virtually identical to a J-50, delivering focused midrange growl, sweet treble cut, and spongy lows.
