1990s Charvel 610-SL SSH Short Scale Superstrat Black w/ Floyd Rose, Japan
Weighing 8lbs 7oz, tonewoods include a poplar body, maple neck, and slab 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The ceramic magnet single coils at the neck and middle positions produce plenty of authoritative cut, clear and distinct in all positions on the five-way switch with more punch and power than Alnico pickups. Metering 9.7k ohms, the Jackson LP-HM humbucker in the bridge position is virtually identical to a J-50, delivering focused midrange growl, sweet treble cut, and spongy lows. This 610-SL has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender D, measuring .735” 1st fret, .840” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, compound 12”-16” radius, sharkfin inlays
-Frets: Jumbo, light wear favoring the plain strings on 1-9
