2016 Vox AC30 Hand-Wired Edition AC30HW2 Fawn w/ Celestion Greenbacks, Amp Stand, Cover & Ftsw
2016 Vox AC30 Hand-Wired Edition AC30HW2 Fawn w/ Celestion Greenbacks, Amp Stand, Cover & Ftsw
The Vox Hand-Wired AC30HW2 preserves the traditional Vox two-channel design, with a Top Boost channel and a Normal channel. True to form, the Top Boost channel delivers the legendary AC30 sound with a fully interactive tone stack (Bass/Treble). Vox has also added a unique Hot/Cool switch to this model. The Cool setting produces the orthodox Top Boost sound, while the Hot setting bypasses the tone circuitry altogether to achieve richer gain. The controls for the Normal channel consist simply of a Volume knob and Bright switch, which adds emphasis to the upper harmonics when engaged.
Additional features include a Master Volume and an Output Power (OP) mode switch which operates as a half power switch down to 15 watts, delivering more detailed control over the gain/volume relationship. A MV/Bypass switch is also included, which completely bypasses the Master Volume section.
The 2x12 cabinet is loaded with the stock pair of 12” Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, an ideal voicing for any AC30, boasting clean frames and stickers dating to September, 2016.
There’s barely a mark on the fawn-colored vinyl or brown diamond lattice grillcloth. The faceplate is pristine, with crisp graphics and the original chickenhead knobs.
The original chrome-plated tubular amp stand, footswitch, Vox-branded slip cover, and owner’s manual are included.
