Gibson Custom Historic 1936 Advanced Jumbo Reissue, Adirondack Red Spruce, VOS Vintage Sunburst
Gibson Custom Historic 1936 Advanced Jumbo Reissue, Adirondack Red Spruce, VOS Vintage Sunburst
As the guitar features Gibson's full 25 1/2" scale (as opposed to their usual 24 3/4" dreadnought playing field), the extra tension on the top attributed to this scale length results in an incredibly clear and rich sound with ample projection, great string-to-string clarity, and superior note definition when chording. Tonally, this guitar is warm and relaxed, with a broad-yet-dynamic midrange and crisp, punchy trebles. And while visually similar to a J-45, the AJ has a higher volume ceiling with more bass kick and less compression when digging in.
