1980 Greco BB-1800 Bich Vintage 10-String Neck Through Guitar Natural 100% Original, Japan

1980 Greco BB-1800 Bich Vintage 10-String Neck Through Guitar Natural 100% Original, Japan

Up for sale, a 1980 Greco BB-1800 10-string in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Made at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this non-catalog Greco is one of the rarest "lawsuit" models produced during the golden era of Japanese electric guitar production. A faithful iteration of the infamous B.C. Rich Bich model, this BB-1800 features maple neck-through construction with maple body wings, a 24-fret Brazilian rosewood fretboard, active electronics with a slew of onboard controls, and a pair of DiMarzio humbuckers.

Weighing 8lbs 2oz, the neck-through construction results in terrific natural sustain, punch and detail. The USA-made DiMarzio PAF in the neck position is present and smooth, ideal for saturated lead lines that truly sing. The DiMarzio Dual Sound at the bridge is essentially an expansion on the Super Distortion platform, delivering the rich harmonic content and midrange bump of that idconic design. There is a broad array of tones achievable via the active electronics, including independent Boosts, Phase switching, “Dual Sound” (coil tap) switches, and a six-position rotary Varitone control. This BB-1800 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
