1982 Gibson Chet Atkins CE Classical Cutaway Acoustic Electric Nylon String Guitar w/ Case
For players that seek the feel and tonality of a traditional nylon string classical guitar, but with a feedback resistant body and an highly tweakable undersaddle pickup system, the Chet Atkins CE is one of the only, and arguably the best, options available. With Volume and Tone thumbwheels on the upper bout, and individual trim pots in the control cavity to tailor the volume of each individual string, the CE's pickup has far more flexibility than a typical piezo. The guitar weighs 10lbs 12oz, with the traditional tonewood combination of a solid spruce top and chambered mahogany body. This Chet Atkins CE has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with normal tension nylon strings and easy-playing action.
Neck Specs:

The gloss nitro lacquer finish shows pick wear on top, buckle scuffing across the back, a small area of rack rash on the lower bout perimeter, and a number of minor dings and finish scratches consistent with use. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth, with a few shallow marks that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
The original Gibson-branded brown hardshell case is included. All three latches are functional, and a new handle has been installed.
