2004 Fender + MJT Stratocaster Partscaster Limited Edition CME Neck & Inca Silver Relic Body w/ Custom '69 Pickups, Case

Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Stratocaster Partscaster, pairing a Limited Edition CME-exclusive Stratocaster neck and an officially Fender-licensed MJT Inca Silver Relic’d swamp ash body.

This Strat is outfitted with a Fender pre-wired pickguard loaded with Custom ‘69 gray bobbin single coils. These pickups feature vintage-spec staggered Alnico poles, enamel-coated wire and cloth-covered leads. The pickups channel the midrange detail and note attack of the swamp ash body, with a smooth, bell-like treble detail, delivering a bevy of classic Strat tonalities. Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this custom Stratocaster build has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Inca Silver nitro lacquer finish and relic was executed by MJT (who also supplied the body), and the lacquer is shot nice and thin for maximal resonance. MJT's relic treatment includes horizontal checking and several simulated marks of wear, primarily concentrated around the perimeter. Beyond the relic, there’s virtually no playwear on the instrument. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.
