2004 Fender Stratocaster '71 Vintage Reissue ST71-85TX Natural, Near-Mint w/ USA Pickups, Japan CIJ

Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Stratocaster ‘71 vintage reissue model ST71-85TX in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Crafted in Japan” Stratocaster is an uncommon, upscale model, designed for the Japanese domestic market and rarely seen outside its country of origin. Features include a factory-installed set of Fender’s USA-made Texas Special pickups and vintage accurate touches including a large 70s-style headstock, three-bolt neck plate, and block saddles.

Weighing 8lbs 5oz, tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck. Fender’s Texas Special single coils match vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico magnets, delivering a bevy of sparkling classic Strat tonalities with a slightly aggressive overwound snap. The bridge pickup is bold and chewy and the neck has a full, bell-like quality. This ST71-85TX Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
