1980s Fender Telecaster ‘52 Vintage Reissue TL52-70 Butterscotch w/ USA Pickups, Japan MIJ Fujigen
Weighing 7lbs 8oz, tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, yielding plenty of natural chime and midrange detail. The American Vintage ‘52 single coils feature black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, a brass baseplate on the bridge pickup, and flush-mount alnico pole pieces. These pickups offer the articulation, twang, and dynamic liveliness associated with the first Blackguard Teles, producing focused bite at the bridge and gutsy chop at the neck. This Telecaster TL52-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
