Up for sale, a 1983 Fender “JV” Telecaster Custom '62 reissue model TL62B-65 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced in the second year of Fender Japan production, this rare model was made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and select international territories as part of the "Japanese Vintage" (JV) line which only lasted from 1982-84.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, offering a resonant, balanced acoustic platform with detailed midrange, notable breadth and clear note attack; qualities faithfully captured by the pickup pair. The bridge pickup features a brass baseplate, black fiber bobbin, and flush-mounted Alnico pole pieces, delivering dynamic, chewy twang.
