Up for sale, a 1983 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-65 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted in the second year of Fender Japan production, this “Japanese Vintage” (JV) series guitar is a rare example, sporting a gloss Candy Apple Red finish.
Extremely accurate to vintage spec and sold only within Japan and select international territories, this Strat has a resonant alder body paired with a maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard, yielding a balanced, clear natural acoustic quality that translates well through the pickups. The trio of ST-Vintage Alnico magnet single coils have black fiber bobbins and staggered alnico magnets, delivering a traditional range of Strat tones.
