Up for sale, a 1985 Fender Boxer Series Stratocaster model ST557 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, this “Made in Japan” Boxer Series model features a trio of Hot Rod single coil pickups and a Blade Shooter tremolo.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, and this Strat is particularly smooth and lively-sounding acoustically. The trio of Hot Rod single coil pickups are snappy and smooth, coupled to a five-way pickup selector. This ST557 weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
