Up for sale, a 1985 Fender JV Rosewood Telecaster '69 vintage reissue model TL69-115 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. One of the very last guitars from Fender Japan's storied JV (Japanese Vintage) line, this rare, top-tier model was made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market at the Fujigen factory. Loaded with the original pair of Fender's American Vintage black bobbin pickups, this particular Rosewood Telecaster has a few small '50s-style features unique to this narrow production window including a one-ply pickguard, domed knurled knobs and brass barrel saddles.
The natural acoustic tone of the rosewood body/neck is lively, detailed and warm. The American Vintage pickups have black fiber bobbins, staggered alnico poles on the bridge pickup and cloth-covered leads, yielding a woody, percussive cut in the neck position and quintessential Tele twang and sparkle with the bridge pickup selected.
