1989 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 Vintage Reissue TL62B-70 Candy Apple Red A-serial, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 vintage reissue model TL62B-70 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Telecaster was produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a gloss Candy Apple Red finish framed on both sides by cream binding.

This Telecaster Custom weighs 7lbs 8oz with a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard. The pair of TL-Vintage single coil pickups have a sparkling snap in the bridge position, with fuller, bell-like tones and sweet percussive cut in the neck position. This TL62B-70 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
