1991 Fender Rosewood Telecaster '69 Vintage Reissue TL69-115 All Rose w/ American Vintage Pickups, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Rosewood Telecaster '69 vintage reissue model TL69-115 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. An exacting reissue of the rare Telecaster model made famous by George Harrison in the waning days of the Beatles, this instrument was produced in the golden age of "Made in Japan" production at the Fujigen factory. And while advertised as a '69 reissue, the instrument has the chambered body construction associated with 1971-72 Rosewood Telecasters.

Weighing 8lbs 15oz, the natural acoustic tone of the rosewood body/neck is lively, detailed and warm, and the single coil pickups are a factory-installed set of Fender’s early American Vintage ‘52 Tele pickups, featuring black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, flush mount Alnico pole pieces and a brass baseplate on the bridge pickup. Delivering quintessential Tele tones, the bridge pickup has an authoritative cut and twang, while the neck pickup is smooth and bell-like in its response. This Rosewood Telecaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
