1992 Fender Stratocaster ‘57 Vintage Reissue ST57-53 Sunburst, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1992 Fender Stratocaster ‘57 vintage reissue model ST57-53 in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” model was produced at the Fujigen factory, offered exclusively in the Japanese domestic market and select international territories, uncommon outside its country of origin.

Tonewoods include a basswood body and one-piece maple neck, yielding a balanced, neutral natural acoustic quality translated faithfully through the trio of original alnico magnet single coils. The bridge position has a sparkly, authoritative zing, the middle position has a percussive clarity, and the neck position is throaty and warm while still having a crystalline snap in the top end. Weighing 7lbs 5oz, this ST57-53 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple

-Fretboard: Maple, vintage-spec 7 1/4” radius
-Frets: Slender, no wear
