Tonewoods include an ash body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fingerboard, for a balanced natural acoustic quality. The bridge position has a sparkling upper midrange focused cut, the middle pickup has a percussive snap, and the neck position is throaty and warm while still having a peppy snap in the top end. Positions 2 and 4 on the five-way pickup selector switch offer a thinned-out squawk. Naturally resonant at 9lbs 1oz, this Stratocaster ST62-53 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
