2004 Fender Stratocaster ‘57 Vintage Reissue ST57-65L Left-Handed w/ Lindy Fralin Pickups, Japan CIJ
The substituted set of Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot Strat single coils feature black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, and alnico magnets, installed à la Jimi Henrix with reverse stagger on the magnets. The resulting tone has a distinctive character, with punchy lows and plenty of hollow “quack” at the in-between positions on the switch, and the bridge pickup includes a Tele-style baseplate for extra kick. This ST57-65L weighs 7lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
