2006 Fender Telecaster ‘52 Vintage Reissue TL52-118BTX Butterscotch w/ Bigsby & Custom Inlay, Japan CIJ
Tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this TL52-118BTX weighs 8lbs 8oz, offering plenty of natural sustain, note attack and midrange detail. The USA-made Texas Special pickups feature black fiber bobbins, staggered alnico magnets and cloth-covered leads. Fat and throaty in the neck position, chiming and cutting in the middle, and offering a chewy, snappy sparkle and twang at the bridge, these pickups cover traditional Tele ground, slightly overwound for more midrange fullness and kick. This TL52-118BTX has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
