Up for sale, a 2007 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-US in excellent condition, featuring a custom color Ice Blue Metallic gloss finish. Produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside of its country of origin, this “Made in Japan” Stratocaster is loaded with the original set of American Vintage 57/62 single coils, also featuring a fully upgraded wiring harness with USA-spec components.
Designed to pay homage to the golden era Pre-CBS Strat, this Stratocaster has plenty of sparkle and spank on tap. The American Vintage 57/62 pickups match vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, staggered alnico magnets, and cloth-covered leads, offering a distinct sound in each pickup position on the five-way switch. This Strat weighs 8lbs, benefitting from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
