This rare “Crafted in Japan” Strat was produced as part of the Japan-exclusive J Craft series, sporting a limited run “All Black” finish on both the body and neck, accented by gold hardware.
The trio of ceramic magnet single coil pickups have a clear sound, with more punch and cut than alnico magnet varieties, offering a sparkling sound in the bridge position, a fat, authoritative quality at the neck, and hollow quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch.
