2009 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 Vintage Reissue TL62B-BTX Candy Apple Red w/ Bigsby B5F & USA Pickups, Japan MIJ
Weighing 8lbs 13oz, tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The pair of USA-made Texas Special single coils feature all the hallmarks of vintage Fender pickup construction, with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered, unbeveled alnico magnet pole pieces. Slightly overwound for a bit more kick than a traditional pair of single coils, the Texas Specials deliver plenty of snarl, with quintessential Tele twang in the bridge position and sweet percussive cut at the neck. This Telecaster Custom TL62B-BTX has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Candy Apple Red finish is framed by cream binding, exhibiting faint pick scuffing on top, some minor dings along the lower bout perimeter (including one small chip adjacent to the jack), and just a couple tiny nicks on the back. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless, highlighting subtle curly figuring in the maple.
